
Dr Matilda Kerry-Osazuwa founder of the George Kerry Life Foundation (GKLF) was nominated for the JCI Ten Outstanding Young Persons of Nigeria Programme (JCI TOYP). She founded GKLF in 2007 to reduce the burden of breast and cervical cancer disease and death among Nigerian women, since then GKLF has reached over 10,000 people and 100,000 families with health awareness, health education, training workshops, behavioral change communication, and free/subsidized screening and treatment of pre-cancer lesions of the cervix. The vision of the George Kerry Life Foundation is equitable healthcare for all African women.
